At very first, want to clear with all my blog readers that, to increase your calorie burning power is called High Metabolic Rate which is the amount of energy your body burns out in order to sustain and rate at which you gain weight.
Metabolic rates are never similar, some have faster or some have slower rates. Persons who are overweight have a slower metabolic rate than other slim. A faster metabolism will burn calories much more efficiently and that individual will have proportionately much less fat in their body.
With the help of proper workouts, we can increase metabolism easily as heart rate will quicken and so that body will burn more energy.
One hand held device, which used by fitness instructors at gyms to give you body composition measurements such as body fat percentage, body mass index (BMI) is called Body Fat analyzers.
As few months ago, I met one of the medical adviser friend who introduces me about Futrex Body Composition Analyzer Products which are really very helpful to know what is going on within the body, easy to use with light weight and faster also.
This is type of Body Fat Analyzer used in hospitals and clinics to educate patients regarding the necessity of maintaining acceptable fat levels.
We also discussed about Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Calculator, which can help us to determine our body RMR.
As he said that there are two types of RMR Calculator, MedGem and BodyGem. From both BodyGem is one of the household device which is used to monitor our metabolic rate at the comfort of our home, but MedGem is generally used by Personal Trainers, Nutritionists for their clients.
Leucorrhoea Treatments Cures
(1) Fenugreek seeds are another excellent home remedy for leucorrhoea. They should be taken internally in the form of tea and also used as a douche.
For a douche, the solution should be much stronger than tea. Two tablespoonfuls of fenugreek seeds should be put in a liter of cold water and allowed to simmer for half an hour over a low flame. It should then be strained and used as a douche.
(2) Treatment through water is extremely beneficial in curing leucorrhoea. A cold hip bath twice a day for 10 minutes will help relieve congestion in the pelvic region and facilitate quick elimination of morbid matter.
(3) A warm vaginal douche at 30 o to 40 o C is beneficial to general cleansing and elimination of the purulent discharge.
(4) The procedure is to fill the douche can with 1 1/2 liter of warm water and hang it at a level of three feet above the body.
(5) The patient should lie with the hips slightly raised above the body and a special nozzle applied for this purpose should be oiled and inserted slowly into the vagina. The flow can be regulated by the small value at the nozzle.
(6) In severe cases of leucorrhoea, the douche should be done daily.
The passive inflammation of the affected organs can be cured by regular hot hip baths at 40 o C for 10 minutes and regular use of wet girdle pack for 90 minutes every night.
For a hot hip bath an ordinary bath tub may be used. It should be filled with water at 40 o C. The patient should sit in the tub, keeping the legs outside, after taking a glass of cold water. The head should be covered with a wet cloth. A cold water bath should be taken after this treatment. For the wet girdle pack, thin cotton underwear and thick or woolen underwear are required. The thin underwear should be wrung in cold water and worn by the patient. The thick dry underwear should be worn above the wet underwear. If the patient feels chill, she should be covered with a blanket.
(7) Yogasanas, especially those which improve muscles of the abdomen and uterus are highly beneficial and should be practiced regularly. These asanas are paschimottanasana, sarvagasana, halasana, padmasana, bhujansana, and shalabhasana.
(8) The patient should completely relax and should avoid mental tension and worry. Abdominal exercises and walking are also helpful.
Leucorrhoea Symptoms Definition
Leucorrhoea, commonly known as whites, refers to a whitish discharge from the female genitals.
It is an abnormal condition of the reproductive organs of women. If not treated properly in the initial stages, it may become chronic.
Recent investigations have shown that secretions from the uterus and upper part of the vagina flow down and are reabsorbed in the lower parts of the vagina. This is the normal constant flow within the female organs. The whitish discharge is, however, caused by the presence of infection in any of these tissues and a variety of other factors. The condition may continue for weeks or months at a time.
Leucorrhoea Signs:-
In addition to the whitish discharge from the vagina, the patient feels weak and tired. She also suffers from pain in the lumbar region and the calves and a dragging sensation in the abdomen.
Other symptoms are constipation, frequent headaches and intense itching. In the chronic form, the patient feels irritable and develops black patches under the eyes
Venereal Diseases Symptoms Causes
(1) Syphilis usually begins as a small ulcerating type of lesion which may occur anywhere in the body, the most common sites being the vulva or in the vagina.
(2) An acute inflammation of the male urethra or the vagina of the female due to infection through pus by the gonorrhoea germs is known as gonorrhoea. A person having a high degree of toxemia and a low vitality may develop this condition with the slightest secretion. A clean blood stream and a high vitality on the other hand may protect one from this disease.
(3) The wise plan, however, is to avoid all chances of infection. It may be contracted through other sources or it may be hereditary.
(4) Gonorrhoea is most difficult disease to identify than syphillis. About two-thirds of women with this disease have no symptoms at all or at most very trivial ones which may be passed off as an apparently harmless vaginal discharge.
(5) If the disease is neglected or improperly treated, it may spoil the entire blood stream which may produce gonorrheal rheumatism and cause affection of the eyes. Proper treatment is therefore, highly important soon after the occurrence of the infection.
Pleurisy Symptoms Signs
Pleurisy Definition:-
Pleurisy is an inflammation of the pleura, a serous membrane which envelopes the lungs and also lines the inside of the chest. It may be acute or chronic, and mild or severe, the disease may be limited to one side of the chest or it may include both the sides.
Pleurisy Signs:-
(1) The onset of pleurisy is generally marked by a sharp and stabbing pain, which may be felt in any part of the chest wall or over the diaphragm.
(2) Deep breathing or coughing increases the pain. In many cases, the diseases begin with a chill, followed by congestion of the pleura and later by fever. The degree of the fever determines the severity of the disease.
(3) The inflammation destroys the tissues and chokes the circulation within the tissues.
(4) Breathing becomes difficult due to the clogging of the circulation, and by pain and swelling within the chest. Later a liquid effusion escapes from the pleura, filling the open spaces in the chest cavity till the effect of the distension becomes oppressive.
(5) After absorption takes place or after the drainage of the effusion, the pressure is lowered, the pain is reduced and the patient feels relieved. It is sometimes dry pleurisy, a form where there is little or no effusion or the effusion may be circumscribed.
(6) The effusion may become gangrenous, or become mixed with blood, or be of a dirty brown color with an offensive odour, leading to much suffering.
Measles Causes
(1) Measles is one of the most contagious diseases, caused by a virus.
(2) The measles virus is so infectious that in cities, children catch this disease before they reach the age of five years.
(3) Mothers generally pass their antibodies to their children which immunize them passively.
(4) This protection, however, does not last beyond the six months. Measles is easily transmitted in the early stages through the invisible droplets of moisture which are discharged from a patient’s nose or mouth when he coughs or sneezes.
(5) The real cause of this disease, like other diseases of childhood, is, however, wrong feed and unhygienic living conditions.
(6) Measles is thus a natural healing crisis aimed at cleansing the infant organism of the toxins and deleterious and products resulting from the assimilation of the vast excess of starchy and sugary foods consumed by young children today.
Asthma Treatments Cures – with Proper Ayurvedic Respiration
Proper ways of breathing can serious diseases like cureasthma. One should pay attention to breathing along with practicing yoga asanas. Some important exercises are being mentioned below, which are helpful in controlling this disease.
1. Always sit straight. Whenever you stand, keep your back straight.
Fold your lips in the manner they are folded to blow whistle. Then apply pressure and exhale. Count the breaths and slowly double the capacity to stop the breath but do not do it forcibly. Do not stop breath in between the process of inhaling and exhaling because irregular breathing pattern should not be followed in case of asthma.
2. If you are unable to breath and the shoulders and neck muscles become stiff then follow this technique. Bend the left ear downwards so that it touches the left shoulder; repeat the same technique with the right ear. Lift the shoulders in such a way that they touch both the ears. Slowly bring down the shoulders as far as possible and rotate them forward, backward, up and down in a circular motion.
Keep the pace of rotation fast at sometimes and slow at other times.
When the muscles get relaxed, the breathing also becomes normal and stops the irregular respiration pattern, congestion in the chest, and anxiety.
3. Lie down straight and keep a book on the stomach. Breathe through the diaphragm and see that the book moves upwards when you exhale and comes down when you inhale. This exercise should be done every day for five minutes; it improves the health of the lungs and strengthens the muscles. Gradually increase the duration of the exercise and the weight on the stomach.
A simple exercise to expand the skeleton:
1. Spread the legs equal to the distance of the shoulders, take the hands forwards and exhale, then spread the hands and take them on either side of the body and then backwards. Keep the elbows on the back and try to expand the skeleton and inhale slowly.
2. Spread the legs equal to the distance of the shoulders and stand straight. Now lift both the hands upwards and try to contract the body in the same position. Take slow and deep breaths in this position. You should feel that the skeleton is moving above the spine. Exhale while bringing down the hands and concentrate only on exhaling.

Nasal Breathing Exercise Benefits
Nasal breathing is the best means of warming and humidifying inhaled air in preparation for the lungs.
Available information on the function and evolution of the human nose is consistent with a primal purpose of conserving moisture and heat. In a temperate climate, the estimated energy expenditure to condition inhaled air can be equivalent to about one sixth of a person's daily energy output; however, about 30 to 40 percent of this energy is recovered by exhaling through the nose. Higher efficiencies of heat and moisture recovery occur in cold and/or dry environments.
The nose also filters incoming air, has irritant receptors that trigger protective reflexes, and, of course, provides the sense of smell. The resistance to air flow in nasal breathing may be an efficient passive means of slowing air flow to provide adequate gas exchange at low ventilation rates. Nasal Breathing Exercise is the normal and preferred mode of quiet respiration.
The intriguing hypothesis that nasal respiration plays an important role in controlling brain temperature may have important implications for brain functioning and psychological states. However, the basic mechanisms and effects of brain cooling have not yet been resolved.
Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercises Technique
The diaphragm is the dominant respiratory muscle for quiet breathing in awake healthy adults, but increased use of chest muscles and increased breathing rate are common results of and may become stresshabitual. Slow diaphragmatic breathing appears to reduce adverse effects of stress and promote parasympathetic cardiovascular dominance. The opposite effects are induced by more rapid breathing using the chest muscles. Before discussing the available data, a brief review of the respiratory process may clarify the nature of these modes of breathing and the methodological issues in their investigation.
Three muscle groups can be used in breathing:
(a) The diaphragm
(b) The muscles of the rib cage
(c) The abdominal muscles
The abdominal muscles are the most powerful and important muscles for forced exhalation, but are normally not used in quiet breathing. Contraction puts inward pressure on the abdominal viscera, which then push the diaphragm up and reduce lung volume. In addition, these muscles may assist expiration by pulling down and deflating the lower rib cage. The important abdominal muscles for respiration are the rectus abdominals, the transverse abdominals, and the external and internal obloquies.
The diaphragm is the most important muscle for inhalation. It is a thin sheet of muscle separating the chest and abdominal cavities. When relaxed the diaphragm forms an open-bottomed cylinder that extends up into the lower part of the rib cage along the sides of the rib cage, and forms a dome on top. Diaphragm contraction shortens the cylindrical portion and pulls the dome down. This movement expands the lungs by pulling them down, which creates a partial vacuum that causes inhalation if the airway is open. When the diaphragm relaxes, the elastic recoil of the lungs pulls it upward, causing exhalation. The downward pressure on the abdominal viscera from contraction of the diaphragm forces the abdominal wall to extend forward and/or the lower rib cage to expand to the sides. The term abdominal breathing derives from this easily observed movement of the abdominal wall, but can also refer to the use of abdominal muscles described below.
